Frequently asked questions (For Hosts)
How does it work?
Our host mom brings a group of kids together at their house. Classes are online for now, but students sit next to each other as in a regular class. They spend an hour learning, singing and socializing together like good old pre-pandemic days.
What is the price per class?
Group classes are $20/class per hour per student. We ask that you form a group of a minimum of 5 kids per batch to start hosting.
How do I get paid for hosting?
At the beginning of the month, you get paid $20/hour for the number of hours you have hosted in the previous month. For example, if you host a class on Tuesdays at 7 PM, you get paid $100 for 5 hours of hosting in a month. If you host for 5 hours every day, you make $2000 per month. This is an easy way to scale up or down based on your commitment. Plus, your kids attend free classes.
Any pre-requisites for hosting?
As with inviting guests, we ask that you maintain basic hygiene standards in the space that is allocated for kids classes and have a working internet connection and a projector to facilitate classes.
How do I find a students in my area?
Your local Whatsapp, Telegram, Facebook and Community groups are the best places to look for leads. You are also welcome to run ads or reels on social media subject to prior approval.
Is it safe to share my space?
As moms ourselves, we take safety very seriously. Most children and their parents are your neighbors that live in the same community as you. You probably know your neighbor more than we do. We trust you to make decisions that are best suited for your family.
What of I change my mind later?
We understand this is not for everyone. If you decide to opt out of being a franchisee, we will be able to void the contract at no costs to you. We are, however, unable to process a refund of the license fee and other sunken costs already incurred.
What if I want to host other events like karoake nights apart from classes?
We are always looking for ideas to expand our offerings to better serve our musical community. Please reach out to us with your ideas and we will determine how we can support you to open up new revenue streams.
